About the course

This is a one-day course which will be running on April Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th - attendees have the choice of either date on a first-come-first-served basis.

The 'Biometry Mastery Course' is exclusively tailored for pre-assessment nurses in cataract and refractive lens exchange surgery, as well as dedicated Ophthalmic professionals. Our program adheres to both RCO and NICE guidelines, in addition to being in line with the recognised gold standard in biometry. With more than two decades of experience in the field, we are positioned as leading experts.

With a comprehensive curriculum encompassing eye anatomy, refraction, cataract surgery, biometry principles, best practices, formulas and IOL constants, participants will delve into the heart of biometry. Our practical workshops, featuring the IOLMaster 700, equip attendees with the key knowledge, skills and understanding to perform accurate and precise biometry and how they relate to the patient pathway.

Join us to lead the way in biometry excellence!

Testimonials

  • "I found the course today really informative. I can take a lot back to help train my colleagues. I realise there are things we didn't know before and things we can do better. I feel I have a much better understanding of our 700 machine now than before."

    Sharon Salmon

  • "This course was exactly what I needed due to the role I have moved into. It started with the anatomy and layered on the additional information needed. Opportunity for questions throughout. All trainers were clearly knowledgeable and presented in an interesting manner. Presentation slides were clear and very useful. QR codes for follow up learning are very useful. I am Autistic with CPTSD and ZEISS (Hayley) catered for my disability perfectly. I was able to attend a training that may otherwise have been outside of my ability."

    Serenity Larrangton-White

  • "Made to feel welcome by the whole team, all needs catered for ; felt able to ask questions as appropriate; very valuable to my development within my own department."
